Let's Get Talking

We'll take the time to understand your vision, needs, and budget specifications. This stage may also call for evaluating the building site to assess requirements and challenges. If your project requires a development application, we can help.

Design, Planning & Permits

Our team will work with you and our plan designer to create a custom design for your home. This will include floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to help visualize the final product. Once we've completed the design process, we'll submit your building permit application to the appropriate city or district.

Time To Build

Once all the necessary approvals and permits are obtained, the next phase is site preparation, foundation work, and framing. Gibson will oversee the construction process and liaise with subcontractors to ensure that the project is implemented as planned and promised, in accordance with set timelines and premium quality standards. 

Dive Into Details

As the construction of your home commences, our team, trade partners and interior designers will work closely with you to select materials, finishes, fixtures, and other details of your new home. From flooring to cabinetry, lighting and appliances, you'll have the final say every step of the way. You'll also have ongoing assistance to ensure that the materials chosen meet your aesthetic preferences, functional needs, and budget.

Finishing Touches

Our third-party quality assurance partner will walk you through your home, explaining the warranty process while noting any issues or deficiencies that will need to be resolved before you officially receive possession of your home.

Welcome Home!

Once your custom home build is completed to your satisfaction, in compliance with legal regulations, and the occupancy permit is received, you will receive the keys to your new home! Your relationship with Gibson Custom Homes does not stop on your move-in day. You’ll enjoy a full-coverage warranty during the first year after your home’s completion, a two-year labour and materials warranty, and a five-year building envelope warranty, followed by a ten-year structural warranty.
